Requirements
Applicant Requirements
- U.S. citizen or US National or lawful permanent resident alien
- Registered UL Lafayette student (at least 6 college hours per fall and spring semesters)
- Minimum GPA of 2.0 (maintain for fall and spring semester)
Individual Interviews
You will be invited to schedule an individual interview date and time after you submit your online application.
Interviews will be held at the AmeriCorps Office.
Member Requirements:
- Required to complete 100 or 300 hours of service
- Must serve at least 10-12 hours per week for both fall and spring semester
- Attend 2 Friday afternoon meetings every month for fall and spring semester
- Recruit 5 unique volunteers for at least 20 hours of service
- Attend all mandatory trainings and all-team volunteer days throughout the service year
